Catching the train to Bendigo?
With reduced fares and increased services, it's easy to get to Bendigo by train - the express service is just under 90 minutes from Melbourne!

The new VLocity trains are sleek and smooth and a perfect way to sit back, relax and enjoy the landscape. From Melbourne there are 20 services a day midweek, 15 on Saturdays and 12 on Sundays. You'll pass through Gisborne, Macedon, Woodend, Kyneton, Malmsbury and Castlemaine, so you might just need to plan a longer trip!

With connecting services from Mildura, Echuca, Swan Hill, Maryborough and Daylesford, Bendigo really is the centre of Victoria. The V/Line Daylink service between Adelaide and Melbourne also stops in Bendigo daily.

Your V/Line ticket also provides free travel on the Bendigo bus network for the same day that you caught the train.
