The Bendigo Joss House Temple is located at Tram Stop No. 6. Jump on board and catch a Vintage Talking Tram from the Central Deborah Gold Mine, CBD, Bendigo Tramways Depot or Lake Weeroona to arrive at the Joss House in true Bendigo style.

It’s easy to get to Bendigo by train – the express service is just under 90 minutes! Train Timetables available here.

From Melbourne there are 20 train services a day midweek, 15 on Saturdays and 12 on Sundays. You’ll pass through Gisborne, Macedon, Woodend, Kyneton, Malmsbury and Castlemaine, so you might just need to plan a longer trip!

150 years

Opened in 1871, 2021 marked the 150th anniversary of the Bendigo Joss House Temple. The heritage-listed temple is significant as being one of the few remaining buildings of its type in Australia.
